Designed in accordance with strict bird-strike prevention guidelines, the artwork uses carefully considered negative space to transform sunlight into an evolving visual experience. The composition depicts an orca moving through the Salish Sea, connecting the architecture with the surrounding landscape and marine ecosystem.
